Lady Cougars Peaking at Playoff Time

The Grace Volleyball program had three matches last week. Both varsity and jv squads went 2-1. JV’s lone loss was to Grapevine Faith and Varsity lost to Coram Deo.

Stat leaders for the varsity this week were:

Avery Nutt: 33 kills, 9 aces, 5 blocks, 11 digs

Aubrey Felton: 16 kills, 4 blocks

Kennedi Pickrell: 17 kills, 24 digs

Maggie Luce: 59 assists, 24 digs, 2 aces

Hannah Rath: 19 digs, 3 aces

Gracie Jewell: 32 digs, 2 assists, 3 aces

MaryClaire Woodard: 17 digs, 2 aces

Grace travels to Grapevine Faith this Thursday in hopes of solidifying a 3rd place finish in district.
