The Lady Cougars moved to 4-0 in district with wins over Bishop Dunne and Coram Deo last week. Tuesday the Cougars defeated Dunne 74-13. Paige Gilmore led the team with 17 points, Abigail Roach, Brenna Hill and Olivia Clark all had double figures, while Kalynn Giffin and Kate Glenney had 9 and 5 respectively. Friday night, in the exciting environment of lower school night, the Cougars beat Coram Deo 51-39. Abigail Roach led the way with 11 assists and terrific defense. Paige Gilmore dropped in 21 points to lead the game. Brenna Hill and Macie Mathis hit big shots in the 3rd to help pull away after the team had a tough time shooting in the first half. The Cougars are 23-7 overall and tied for 1st in district with a match up with Grapevine faith at home this Thursday.
