Lady Cougars Start District Play

The Lady Cougars started district play this past week with 2 wins over Coram Deo. Sophomore Ryder Dunnam led the Lady Cougars in hits with 4 hits while Junior Macie Mathis and Sophomore Sadie Arriola followed up with 3 hits a piece. Isabel Buchanan added a homerun to her season total while Junior Rylan Lafaitt smashed her first career homerun to get her on the board. Junior Kat Neal had 8 strikeouts while Sophomore Malayna Cauley added 7 strikeouts as she tops 100 strikeouts for her high school career. The Lady Cougars are back on the road Tuesday to take on 2-time State Champion Frisco Legacy at 5:30 pm and will be back home Thursday at 5 pm. Come out and be loud!!
