Varsity Basketball
Basketball is a great game, but it is just that, a game. The value of the game comes from what we learn in the process. “Teamness” is a GCS word; it is about being a part of something bigger than ourselves. It is the challenge of sacrificing for each other and bringing our best effort for those around us so that the whole is greater than the parts. I Cor. 12:14 says, “For the body is not one member, but many.” I Cor. 12:25-26 also states, “so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” GCS Basketball – we win, lose, love and learn together!
